Social Side Up is passionate about participatory project/plan development, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and social inclusion.
Social Side Up engages on water & sanitation; urban & area development, and climate adaptation issues. And helps deliver positive and sustainable change through meaningful involvement of multiple stakeholders including vulnerable groups.
Social Side Up works with a variety of (local) government organisations, companies, and research institutes on stakeholder engagement, social impact advisory, and process management. Social Side Up concentrates on projects in The Netherlands, Sub-Sahara Africa and Asia.
About me
Sanne Vermeulen (1978) is a social scientist from Free University (VU) Amsterdam. She has over 17 years’ experience as an expert in complex process and stakeholder management in urban development, climate adaptation and water & sanitation projects.
